Healthy Greek Salad with Honeyed Walnuts

INGREDIENTS

Salad

  • 1 cup salad greens
  • 4 cubes feta cheese
  • 4 olives, pitted
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/3 chicken breast, cooked and sliced
  • Dill, oregano and red cress to taste to serve

 

Honeyed walnuts

  • ¼ cup NuVitality Walnut Halves
  • 1 tbs NuVitality Sunflower Kernals
  • 1 tbs NuVitality Pepitas
  • 1 heaped tsp honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all nuts and seeds into a fry-pan and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add honey and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the honey turns a darker caramel colour.
  3. Serve on salad while warm.
