This highly nutritious grain makes a perfect porridge, or a delicious substitute for rice.  Rich in important antioxidants, these power-packed kernels need to be soaked overnight to speed up the cooking process. To prepare:Soak overnight, then add 1 cup NuVitality Buckwheat Kernels to 1 ½ cups of water or stock and boil.  Reduce heat to simmer and cover and cook until all liquid is absorbed.  (About 12-15 minutes.) Turn off heat, let stand for about 5 minutes, fluff, and then serve.
