Lemon & Dill Dip

INGREDIENTS

Serves 6 with veggie sticks 

  • 1 cup NuVitality Sunflower Kernals
  • Juice and zest of one large lemon
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup dill, roughly torn

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place oil, garlic and onion in a fry-pan and sauté on medium for 10 minutes, stirring often, until the onion is cooked through.
  2. Place into a blender or food processor along with all other remaining ingredients and pulse until dip is completely smooth.
  3. Serve with fresh veggies and extra sunflower seeds.
