Teff

The world’s smallest grain packs a big nutritional punch.

So tiny, that 1 grain of wheat equals 150 grains of NuVitality Teff.  And that’s the secret of its goodness. The husk isn’t removed so all the fibre remains. Yet it can be easily ground to add to pancakes, breads and cereal. To prepare.  Add 2 cups of water to ½ cup NuVitality Teff. Boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 mins.  Water will then be absorbed and the grain will be tender. Remove from heat and let stand before serving – then season to taste.

Benefits

  • Source of Fibre for regular laxation and digestive health.
  • Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
